Lulu Henley

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Lulu brings a warm, reflective and holistic approach to her work, shaped by her background in counselling, psychotherapy, yoga teaching and direct NDIS support work. Before moving into the therapeutic and disability sectors, Lulu spent several years working in event management in Sydney, where she developed strong skills in communication, organisation, problem-solving and working with people during high-pressure moments.

After moving to the South Coast, Lulu followed her long-standing interest in mental health, self-development, behaviour and the mind-body connection by completing postgraduate study in counselling and psychotherapy. Her work is grounded in the belief that people are more than their behaviours, diagnoses or challenges, and that meaningful support needs to consider the whole person — their relationships, environment, physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and sense of connection.

Lulu has particular interests in trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, somatic body-based approaches, values-based therapeutic work, parts-informed approaches, and creative ways of supporting people to build insight, confidence and connection.

Alongside her counselling background, Lulu has worked in the NDIS sector as a support worker, giving her practical experience supporting people in their day-to-day environments. This has helped shape her understanding of the importance of strategies that are not only evidence-informed, but realistic, respectful and achievable for the person and their support network.

Lulu brings curiosity, compassion and a holistic lens to behaviour support. She is passionate about working collaboratively with participants, families and teams to better understand what sits underneath behaviour, and to develop support that feels safe, practical, person-centred and genuinely useful.

Lulu holds a Graduate Diploma and Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is also a qualified yoga teacher.
